Eazy-Peazy Beef Stroganoff

Satisfying beef stroganoff featuring beef sirloin in a delicious sauce featuring mushrooms, onion, seasonings and sour cream.

Ingredients
  

  • 0.5 kg Boneless Beef Sirloin Steak
  • 2 tbsp Vegetable Oil
  • 1.5 cup Sliced Mushrooms
  • 1 Medium Onion Chopped
  • 1/8 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Dried Thyme Leaves Crushed
  • 1 pack Slow Roast Beef Gravy or Beef Stock
  • 1/2 cup Sour Cream
  • 1 tsp Fresh Parsley Chopped

Instructions
 

Step 1

  • Slice beef into very thin strips.

Step 2

  • Heat half the oil in a saucepan. Add beef and cook until browned, stirring often. Remove beef.

Step 3

  • Heat remaining oil. Add mushrooms, onion, garlic and thyme and cook until tender.

Step 4

  • Add gravy and heat to a boil. Reduce heat to low. Stir in sour cream. Return beef to pan and heat through.

Step 5

  • Serve with pasta, rice, mashed potato or anything that takes your fancy. Garnish with parsley.
